Her Story

Her life’s journey—marked by faith, perseverance, and compassion—has shaped a ministry that inspires audiences through speaking, clean comedy, advocacy for caregivers, and mentorship for women. From childhood, Debra was influenced by church Mother’s whose wisdom and warmth inspired her.  Her grandmother prophesied a great work for her at the age of twelve, setting a spiritual foundation that guided her through life’s trials.  Recognized as an anointed vessel of God, Evangelist Debra Savage embraces her calling much like Esther, believing that she has been brought into the kingdom for such a time as this.  She serves as an instrument of empowerment and a catalyst for change, dedicated to building the Kingdom of God through her work. She is the founder of DeeDee’s Mobile Notary Services (2020) and the proud mother of one son, Courtney, and grandmother to Madison and Jordan.

The Caregiver Calling

Debra’s profound journey as a caregiver began when her son Marcellous was diagnosed with sickle cell disease as a toddler and suffered a massive stroke. At just 23 years old, she found herself navigating complex medical needs, countless hospital stays, and the emotional strain of raising two children with special health challenges as a single mother. Debra became a caregiver to both children, as her second son, Courtney was diagnosed with the disease at six weeks old.  All of this was accomplished while balancing motherhood, caregiving, and church involvement under challenging circumstances, including domestic abuse and marital struggles.

Through moments of uncertainty and seasons of loss, her faith in God sustained her. She also credits divine strength and faith for sustaining her through adversity, emphasizing the importance of trusting God’s process even when circumstances are difficult. She knows firsthand the exhaustion, resilience, and grace it takes to care for a loved one. Today, she uses her story to bring hope and encouragement to other caregivers, reminding them that even in the heaviest seasons, God’s strength is made perfect in weakness. Debra’s faith and sense of humor were her lifelines during these seasons.
